The Scottish Arts Club Charitable Trust

The Scottish Arts Club Charitable Trust was set up in 2014 to advance all forms of the creative arts in Scotland, to improve the accessibility of the creative arts to the general public and to encourage and assist in the development of up-and-coming artists, exhibitors and performers. The Trust aims to expand opportunities for audiences across Scotland to see, use, and experience the arts in ways that can inspire, enhance knowledge, and even improve the quality of life.

With this in mind, the Trust supports a range of awards and prizes as well as exhibitions and concerts. We are developing partnerships and aim to raise funds that can provide financial support and opportunities for artists, writers, musicians, photographers and others working in the arts as well as for publications, talks, and events.

The Scottish Arts Club Charitable Trust was founded by members of the Scottish Arts Club . Whilst the Trust and Club are separate entities, The Scottish Arts Club has been the host to many of our events and the two work closely together to support The Trust’s charitable aims.

The medium term strategy of the Trust includes:
  • The development of the Scottish Arts Club Short Story Competition
  • The development of the Scottish  Portrait Awards
  • Promoting the work of composers and musicians in Scotland.

Scottish Arts Club Charitable Trust is independent and relies totally on donations in order to continue its work. All Trustees and supporters give their time and experience on a voluntary, unpaid basis. All donations are gratefully received however small. Read more About us
